Effective February 1, 2021, the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (the HCRA) has been designated as Ontario’s regulator of new home builders and vendors under the New Home Construction Licensing Act 2017 (NHCLA).
The Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) is responsible for regulating and licensing the people and companies who build and sell new homes in Ontario, giving new home buyers confidence in one of the biggest purchases of their lives.
